BancaStato, a Swiss bank, has launched bitcoin trading through Sygnum and Avaloq, allowing clients to buy, hold, and sell bitcoin via the bank's existing web and mobile apps. The service connects Sygnum's API to Avaloq's core banking system, with client assets held in Sygnum's custody. BancaStato joins over 25 other banks on Sygnum's B2B platform.

Hut 8's shares rose over 10% after the company signed a 15-year lease for a $9.8 billion AI data center deal at its Texas campus.
